The DAC40CS series are compact type 2 or type 3 surge arresters designed to protect single or multi-phase systems. They are equipped with a plug-in protection module and are designed for DIN rail mounting.
The DAC40CS series are available for supply voltages of 120V, 230V or 400V and all common mains types (TN, TNC, TNS, TT). The protection circuitry consists of high power varistors with a thermal isolator and fault signaling. A potential-free contact is used to connect a remote signaling.
