🔥 QFire PV Firefighter Switch: automated galvanic disconnection according to DIN EN 60947-3:2020 up to 20 A per string at 1,500 V DC

The control box is installed centrally near the inverter or at another accessible point of the AC network. The switching boxes are installed close to the PV modules, where the lines can be safely and arc-free disconnected in a switching event using special high-performance relays.

The PV system can be disconnected via:

  • manual operation at the control box
  • an external emergency stop or key switch
  • coupling with the fire alarm control panel
  • AC-coupled via the power grid in case of grid failure – the system automatically reconnects when the grid returns
  • undervoltage (e.g., cable break) or severe fluctuations in the AC network
